I got into design through postcards. Traveling around the country with my family and picking up postcards with beautiful designs, illustrations, and layouts opened my eyes to what design is—and what it can be. But it wasn’t just those postcards. It was also the breathtaking designs created in the Earth by Mother Nature. Seeing rivers carve through canyon lands and admiring trees clinging to mountainsides instilled in me the idea that design also requires a gripping story for it to be understood. This became a part of how I see the world and approach creative inspiration.
