CONCEPT
Create a magazine focused on any chosen subject. The subject chosen for buildout was a contemporary magazine centered around brutalist urban architecture, clothing, and art in the 21st century.
ART DIRECTION
Being based around contemporary urban architecture and clothing style, the magazine needed to evoke a sense of grunginess and structured type/layouts. Throughout the magazine, the use of black and white contributes to those emotions while throwing in hints of bright blood red. Images are placed in tower-like formations, and the type is structured like buildings.
